Create a website block using AI
The AI in SendPulse's website builder helps you quickly build ready-made blocks. Describe the block you’d like to create, and it will be generated on the spot.
In this article, we’ll talk about how to generate a block using AI in the website builder.
Make an AI request
To generate a website block, click the icon in the lower right corner.
In the chat window, type in your prompt. Describe the block you want to create.
To get a block that matches your goals, make sure your prompt is clear and detailed. Mention your business type, outline the purpose of this block, and describe your website style. Ask the AI to analyze your audience’s preferences, add specific elements, and use your preferred structure, text, and visuals.
✅ Strong prompt: “Generate a landing page header for my online academy. Use a white background. Add a call-to-action button to sign up for my web design course. Use a lead heading and a supporting line noting that this course is designed for beginners, professionals, and business owners.”
❌ Weak prompt: “Generate something creative.”
Once you enter your prompt, click Send. Your new block will appear at the top of your page in the builder. To see it, scroll up to the top.
You can use up to 200 free AI requests across all your websites. To increase this limit, integrate your OpenAI account with SendPulse. The number of requests you've used appears above the input field in the chat window.
You can view requests and responses in each chat window as long as your session is active. Refreshing the page will erase them.
View your generated block
The AI uses your prompt to add elements and configure their settings, so be as clear and specific as possible. This feature currently supports the Text, Separators, Button, Image, and Custom code widgets.
Your block will have a reserved spot for an image, but you’ll need to upload it yourself. Make sure to also update your button links and double-check any custom code.
Customize your block
Once your block is generated, you can edit it manually using the website builder.
If you make a new request, the AI will generate a new block.
