You can send a campaign to those contacts who have or do not have a specific tag or set of tags. This way, you can take into account the peculiarities of the engagement level and preferences of your recipients for personalized work with each group.
How to Create a Campaign for all of your Mailing Lists
Click Create Campaign and go to the campaign builder.
In the first stage of creating a mailing list, select the type of recipients "Subscribers with a tag."
Then, select a tag or multiple tags.
Please note that when sending a campaign to the "Tagged Subscribers" type of recipients, the campaign builder will select all contacts that have the selected tag, regardless of which mailing list the contact is in.
If you have selected the "mailing list" recipient type with the "Tag" segment, the campaign will only be sent to contacts within the selected mailing list.
If you have selected multiple tags, you can filter contacts by any or all of the selected tags.
How to Create a Mailing List for a Selected Mailing List
You can select a mailing list and a segment with the selected tag — in this case, the campaign will only be sent to contacts within one mailing list.
To do this, in the first stage of creating a distribution, select the type of recipients "mailing list."
Then select a mailing list, check "Segment List," and select the segment type "Tag." Select the segment condition and the tag itself.
You can also add segmentation conditions and combine the “and” or “or” operators for one segment type and “each”or “any” for different segment types.
After selecting a segment, click "Apply" to let the system select contacts according to the filter conditions.
Next, continue creating your campaign as usual, choosing a sender address, email subject, template, and sending time.
