How to export automated flow statistics
In the Automation section, you can download a file with statistics on a specific flow or an overview of your overall flow performance.
In this article, we will talk about how to export automated flow statistics.
How to export overall flow statistics
You can get statistics on all automated flows within a specific timeframe with data about sending, delivery, opens, clickthroughs, and errors for the Email and SMS elements.
Statistics are collected from active and paused flows within your selected timeframe. However, data points from deleted elements and flows are not included.
Select export options
Go to the Automation section > Dashboard. On the right, you will see a block with downloadable Email and SMS element statistics.
Select the timeframe for which you want to download statistics.
Click Export at the bottom of the block.
In the modal window, select a file format: CSV, XLS, or XLSX.
Select the Get an external report on flows checkbox if you want to get statistics on every message (email or SMS).
Click Export.
The generated file will be sent to your SendPulse account email address.
If you are an agency owner or invited team member, you can select one or more email addresses from the list. Read more: How to export statistics as an agency.
Download the file
Go to your inbox and open the email from SendPulse. Click Download file to save the file to your device.
The generated file includes the following metrics.

The number of sending errors. The percentage of error messages that have been sent. |
How to export statistics on a specific automated flow
You can export automated flow statistics and get the list of contacts who reached a certain element in that flow.
In the Dashboard tab, click your flow.
List of recipients
You can download the recipient list.
Click your element. In the Email element, your list appears in the List of recipients tab. In other elements, it appears at the bottom of the sidebar.
Click Export.
You can export data to a mailing list or file.
To export data to your mailing list, select a mailing list and click Export.
Only unique contacts can be exported to a mailing list — if your statistics contain duplicate email addresses, only one will be included.
To export data as a file, select a file format. Select the Only unique contacts checkbox to remove duplicates.
Click Export.
If you want to export your recipient list with variable data, select the Extended export checkbox and click Export.
The generated file will be sent to your SendPulse account email address.
Automated flow statistics
Go to the Statistics tab. Click Filter and select a timeframe to show statistics (last 7 or 30 days or a quarter).
Click Export.
A CSV file will be downloaded to your device.
How to export statistics as an agency
If you have created an agency within the SendPulse partner program and have added clients to it, you can export your clients’ statistics. To do this, go to the Agency area, log in to a client account, and go to the Automation section. Start exporting the overall statistics.
In the modal window, select the email address at which you want to receive the generated file. As an agency owner, you can select the following email addresses:
- Your email address;
- Your invited team member's email address in the Agency Area;
- Your client’s email address.
You can also select multiple email addresses from the list.
If an invited team member exports data, they can select their email address, main account email address, or both.
Click Export and download the file in the email you receive.
