Сonnect SendPulse's MCP server to Claude Code

Claude Code is Anthropic’s command-line tool for agentic coding that supports MCP integrations. Once you connect SendPulse's MCP server to it, you will be able to manage your SendPulse account directly in the Claude Code terminal using natural-language requests.

Let's talk about how to connect SendPulse's MCP server to Claude Code.

Add SendPulse’s MCP server

To go to Claude Code, open a terminal and run:

claude

To add SendPulse's MCP server, run:

claude mcp add sendpulse --transport http https://mcp.sendpulse.com/mcp

Then, it will ask you to close the terminal and start again.

To authenticate, run /mcp, select SendPulse's MCP server, and press Enter. Select Authenticate and press Enter again.

The SendPulse API authentication page will be opened in your browser. Enter your login credentials and click Login.

After you authenticate, the /mcp panel will show SendPulse's MCP server with the Connected status.

Run actions through MCP

Once you've connected the MCP server, you can send messages and take other actions in your SendPulse account using tools.

To see available tools, type in your request using natural language in the terminal and press Enter.

To begin, enter your request using natural language and send it. The AI assistant will then name the tool it plans to run. If the selected tool is appropriate, select Yes and press Enter to proceed.
