Manage course content in the builder

SendPulse helps you create course content from scratch or edit existing lessons using a simple drag-and-drop builder. Add text, videos, files, tests, or assignments and rearrange or update them as you go.

This flexible setup helps you quickly adapt your content to students’ needs, hide or show specific elements, set access conditions, and make changes even after your course has started.

In this article, we will talk about how to manage your course content in SendPulse’s course builder.

View your course layout

You can view the full list of sections, lessons, tests, and certificates in your course. Rearrange them and add new items as needed. Switch between lessons to preview or edit them and adjust content access settings.

To add content to your course, click the arrow in Add lesson and select a content type: section, lesson, test, or certificate.

To collapse the list, click the header that shows your course name and currently open lesson.

Use builder elements

You can add various elements to your course content, including Text, Gallery (Video, Image, or Carousel), Audio, Dividers, File, or Assignment.

Click and drag an element into the workspace.

Edit elements in the workspace

The workspace in the center helps you manage course content in every section, lesson, test, or certificate.

To edit an element, click it and make your changes. The selected element will be highlighted for easy navigation.

To move an element, drag the handle on the right and drop it where you want it.

You can also manage every element using the menu in the lower right corner.

Copy to another lesson

Copies an element and its settings to another lesson in the same course. In the modal window, select a target lesson and click Copy.

The element will be added to the end of that lesson.

Duplicate Creates a copy of an element within the current lesson.
Delete

Permanently removes an element.

This action cannot be undone.

To add a new element, click the + button below the highlighted element and choose one from the list.

Only one instructor can edit course content at the same time.

Click the icon in the upper right corner to go to SendPulse's partner catalog.

Save changes

To save your changes, click Save. You can also click the arrow and select Save and exit — this will save your changes and close the builder.
