How to enable app monetization

App monetization in SendPulse app directory allows you to generate revenue from app installations. With multiple payment models available, you can choose the strategy that suits your goals best.

Let’s talk about how to enable app monetization.

Enable monetization

You can set up monetization when you add your app or later on.

  • If you are adding your app for the first time, fill in the required fields in the initial tabs, and go to the Monetization tab.
  • If you have already added your app, go to Home > Created. Click the three dots next to your app and select Set up monetization.

Turn on the Enable monetization toggle.

Set up a pricing model

Select a payment model and enter the details.

One-time payment This option allows users to access your app after a one-time payment.

Select a payment system to process transactions, and enter a payment amount.

You can also set a discount as a percentage — users will see the old price and the new discounted price.

Annual subscription This option allows users to access your app for one year.

Select a payment system to process transactions, and enter a payment amount.

You can also set a discount as a percentage — users will see the old price and the new discounted price.

Payment currency is retrieved from your payment system settings.

To add more payment options, click + Add payment method and enter the details. You can add up to 12 payment methods.

Set up integrations with CRM

Select a pipeline and deal stage for automatically created deals.

By default, your deal will be added to the first stage of your first pipeline. A comment with information about your visitor's source, location, device, and browser will appear on their contact card. In CRM system settings, you can select the pipeline and stage where you want to add deals based on payment status.

Once you configure the settings, click Save.

View payments

To view your payment history, go to Account settings > Accept Payments. You will see payment details, including users’ names, app names, prices, last status update dates, and payment statuses.

All payment statuses are given by the selected payment system. For more information, we recommend contacting the support of the payment system.
