How to manage course content

To manage and configure course content, you can set up and organize access to various elements. You can also view all lessons, tests, and sections and use filters to quickly locate the information you need.

Let’s talk about how to view your course program and organize your content using the available features.

View course content

To view your course program, open your course, and go to the Lessons tab.

You can also use filters to sort course content by specific criteria. To do this, click Filter and select a criterion:

Date created Specify a time period, or select the Last ... days option.
Course content Select a course content type: section, lesson, or test.
Rating Select a rating — from 1 to 5.
Access Select an access type: Open, Closed, or Scheduled.

You can find the following information in your course content:

Name Section, lesson, or test name
Lesson completed The number of students who have completed your course.
Rating The average rating and the number of students who rated your section, lesson, and test.
Date created The date when a section, lesson, or test was created.

Manage individual course content pieces

Click the three dots next to a course content piece, and select an action:

Edit Opens the builder where you can edit your lesson, test, or section.
Update access type Sets an access type for a lesson, test, or section. In the modal window, select Open, Closed, or Scheduled, and then click Change.
Copy to course Copies your content to another course. In the modal window, select a course and click Copy.
Copy public link

Copies the link to a lesson or test.

You can only copy links to lessons and tests. To access these links, students must be enrolled in your course. If your course is sequential, they must also complete a specific lesson or test first.

Delete Permanently deletes your content piece.

Manage multiple course content pieces

To apply an action to multiple sections, lessons, and tests, filter them by a specific criterion, select them, and then choose the action from the upper panel.

Update access type Sets an access type for selected lessons, tests, or sections. In the modal window, select Open, Closed, or Scheduled, and then click Change.
Copy to course

Copies your content to another course. In the modal window, select a course and click Copy.

If you copy lessons from various sections, they are added to the last section of your target course. If you copy an entire section and individual lessons, your target course will create an identical section and add your selected lessons from other sections at the end.

Delete Permanently deletes your course content.
