How to manage company fields

You can add fields with more information about a company’s industry, products or services, size, and other data that will help you understand its needs.

When you edit fields in your pipeline settings, their names will change automatically in every deal card.

Go to Contacts > Companies and click Settings. The Fields tab contains all the company fields you created in cards. Under a field name, you can view its field type.

You can disable, edit, or delete added fields.

To rearrange the fields in a company card, click to the left of a field name, and drag it up or down.

To add fields that will appear by default when you add new companies, click Add field.

Enter a field name, and select its type:

String Used to enter up to 255 text characters.
Number Used to enter numbers.
Date and time Used to specify a date and time.
Link Used to add a clickable link to a deal card.
List Used to select one or more values ​​from a predefined set. When creating a deal, you can select one or more preset options.

You can enable the Allow multiple choice of options option.

Checkbox Used to indicate the presence or absence of certain conditions, options, or parameters.

This field cannot be required.

To make a field required, select the Make it required checkbox.
