How to manage company data
To manage deals effectively, it’s important to keep them up to date. You can change a company’s name, fields, and contact information, edit files, and leave comments.
To open a company card, go to Contacts > Companies, and click it in the list.
You can also go to a company card from a linked contact, deal and task cards.
Edit company data
You can view a company name at the top of its card. To edit it, click the pencil icon next to it. You can enter up to 120 characters, numbers, and letters.
To edit contact information, click the field and enter a new value. If you are adding multiple contact data points, you can mark one of them as the primary one.
You can also update companies’ annual incomes, addresses, and other fields. To do this, click a field, and enter or select a new value. To create a new field, click + Add Field. Enter a field name and select its type. Then, click next to the field and enter the value.

Manage contacts
In the Company employees section, you can unlink or link contacts. To unlink a contact, click the icon to the right of the contact. To add a new contact, click + Add contact and fill in the data.
To edit contact information, click a contact, and you will see their card.
To contact a company representative, click one of the following icons:
- Email address — you will go to the email client on your device;
- Phone number — you will launch the SMS campaign wizard;
- Messenger app — you will see a chat with the representative if they have interacted with your chatbot.
Manage files
In the File section, you can add new files and manage your uploaded files. Click the meatballs menu to manage your uploaded file:
Download | Downloads the file to your device. |
Show in folder | Shows where the file is located in the SendPulse storage. |
Remove from deal | Removes the file from its deal, but not from the SendPulse storage. |
Delete | Deletes this file from its deal and the SendPulse storage. |
Change assignee
To change the assignee, under a company name, select a new team member.
To select an assignee, you need to invite a user and select a role with access to CRM: Companies. Read more: User roles.
Manage comments
You can also leave comments on the right. They allow you to communicate, exchange information, store data, share comments, and resolve issues.
Enter your text in the field. If necessary, tag an employee using the @ sign and attach a file. Click Send.
Delete a company
To delete a company, click the icon in the upper right corner. When deleting a company, contacts associated with it will remain in the CRM system in the Contacts section.
To delete your list of companies, go to Contacts > Companies, select companies, and select Delete in the panel.
