How to distribute standard user roles' access rights

Available with the Standard plan and above, as well as during the 7-day free trial

To simplify your team’s workflow and increase their efficiency, you can provide access to your SendPulse account and grant the rights to view and manage data.

SendPulse has 7 standard user roles. You can also create a custom user role with your own element access rights.

In this article, we will talk about how to distribute standard roles’ access rights based on what service they use.

User roles

A user role is a set of permissions and restrictions that define how an individual can manage and alter what you create. An account owner has rights to all features, like providing access to other team members.

When you assign a role to your team member, you provide them with the access rights determined by this role. Let's go over the permissions each role offers.

Designer	Designing templates, website layouts, pop-ups, subscription forms, email campaigns, and online courses. These users do not have access to contacts, mailing lists, and service settings.
Accountant	Managing pricing plans and payments. These users can view balance and payment statistics and monitor online course students’ payments. Accountants do not have access to contacts, mailing lists, and service settings except for payment-related settings.
Analyst	Evaluating performance statistics, viewing data, and creating and exporting reports. These users do not have access to contacts, mailing lists, and service settings.
Editor	Editing flows and their contents. These users can manage campaigns, online courses, websites, contacts, mailing lists, pop-ups, chatbots, and service settings and export statistics and contact data (except for Automation 360 data).
Manager	Creating, editing, and deleting elements and switching pricing plans.
Superman	These users have the same permissions as account owners, but cannot change account owners’ access rights.
CRM/EDU-Manager (Inviter)	Managing CRM and EDU data without access to other services.

Payments

Manage access to your SendPulse account balance replenishment, billing history, and subscriptions.
